Requirements: new and of practical use

If you wish to register your design, it must meet a number of requirements. In principle, the design must first of all be new. This means that it may not previously have been known to others. Secondly, the design may not be purely technical. If your design also offers a technical advantage, you should also apply for a patent on the design.
