British student delights housewives with innovative clothes peg
September 9th, 2005
Many a housewife will be delighted with the news: a clothes peg that predicts the weather. A British student has invented a clothes peg that registers changes in the air pressure and sends electronic signals to metal strips in the peg. The clothes peg locks within half an hour when it is about to rain, thus making it impossible to hang out the washing. The British student’s invention was a product of his own frustration at washing being drenched by the rain.
