Shoe designer takes Armani to court
September 9th, 2005
Amsterdam shoe designer Jan Jansen has demanded rectification by Giorgio Armani. He accuses the Italian fashion giant of having copied his design for a flat white lace-up shoe. Jan Jansen designed the show more than ten years ago and it can now be found in full-page Armani advertisements in Italian Vogue. Jan Jansen was already known as the most copied designer. In the past the proceeds of an Indian boot and the high-heeled sneaker already passed him by.
