AOMB organises workshop "Basic Patent Searching"

March 24th, 2010

Innovative ideas and inventions are key to commercial success. However, how do you distinguish the real innovative ideas from normal technical progression? Which ideas may potentially be patented, and what progress is made by the competitor?

Patent searching not only helps you to develop an insight in these issues, but may also help you to focus on still unexplored areas in technology, thereby making your research more effective and valuable.

On Wednesday March 24, 2010, AOMB organises a workshop "Basic Patent Searching" in Kasteel Doenrade (Doenrade castle). Kasteel Doenrade is located in the beautiful coutryside of Limburg, near the city of Sittard. Attendance to the workshop is free of charge.

This workshop provides a general understanding of the basics of patenting, and particularly focuses on prior art search strategies. Highlight of the workshop is the opportunity for the participants to perform practical search exercises. The workshop may be attended by anyone interested, and is in particular useful for researchers, development engineers and scientists.
